New Vertically Challenged comic book successfully funded on Kickstarter!
The Vertically Challenged comic book has reached its funding goal, and is still going toward additional funding. With 3 days left, there's still time to get involved and get some great rewards in addition to the book. I'm glad to have the pressure off of reaching the goal, and the next days are bonus, where I'll add in more surprises. CASA Superhero Run, Lexington, Promotional Artwork, September 20, 2014 Event
I was honored to be asked to provide the artwork for the upcoming CASA Superhero Run. This is a 5K event in Lexington, Kentucky which raises funds for the CASA Organization, a non-profit made up of volunteers that represent abused and neglected children in the court system.
This is an amazing event, which I also participate in as a runner and fundraiser. I provided artwork for the t-shirt, superhero capes, award plaques and other promotion materials. The CASA heroes on the left may be spotted around Lexington and Richmond as the event gets closer. Hope to see you there on September 20!

Derby City Comic Con 2014 Recap
Thanks to Chuck Moore, John and Kim Wilson, and Crew for an excellent job at putting
together another successful Derby City Comic Con in Louisville,
Kentucky. Although Chuck was literally everywhere at once taking care of things, he always had time to stop and talk, answer questions, and it looked like he was having fun the entire time! I met some new fans, reconnected with fans from last year's
convention, and introduced several new Vertically Challenged paintings. I especially
enjoyed painting Big Ben in the Vertically Challenged format.
A
highlight of the show for me was meeting Mark Waid, my all-time favorite
Fantastic Four writer, someone I didn't think I'd ever get to meet. We
were actually seated two tables away from each other during the
convention. I got some FF and Daredevil books signed and picked up some
other books by Mark. Check out his current run on Daredevil for one of
the most enjoyable books you'll read!
